Jennifer Gordon Homeopath
After opening and running a busy family practice in Dublin, Ireland and subsequently opening a new clinic in Tarrytown, NY, I have learned many things about business! After qualifying as a Professional Homeopath, it took me nearly 3 years to build word-of-mouth referrals from existing patients, doctors, nurses, counselors, chiropractors, nutritionists, and local businesses. These referrals ultimately resulted in a well co-ordinated community of professionals offering competent and diversified healthcare services. This was mutually beneficial to both the practitioners and to our clients, by providing an extensive network of quality care.
I made myself accessible by offering evening and Saturday appointments to accommodate working families and school age children and adolescents. I also set up a mobile clinic in Northern Ireland to make my services available to people living in the countryside. During my 15 years of practice in Ireland, I attended births, weddings, and sadly funerals of my clients, their parents and grandparents because I was considered a caring part of the extended family. I was always honored to be considered as a part of these family rituals, and tried to attend them whenever possible.
In re-establishing my practice in the heart of the village of Tarrytown, NY, I am creating the same type of caring professional service within the local community. Many local residents are unaware of the benefits of homeopathy, which is the world’s leading form of complementary medicine. Homeopathy provides safe, natural and effective treatments for a variety of common complaints from hay fever, allergies, intestinal bloating, headaches, as well as constitutional support for more chronic complaints such as sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, hormonal imbalances, low energy and weakened immunity.
Part of my intention in setting up practice here, is to help educate the local population on the benefits of homeopathy as a complementary form of healthcare.
